Know your fare before you travel

One flag fall, one per-kilometre rate, one waiting rate. Tolls quoted upfront. No surge pricing, ever.

How we price a trip

  • $5.00 flag fall — charged once, at the start of the trip.
  • $3.20 per kilometre — measured on the actual driven route.
  • 80c per minute waiting — applied only while the vehicle is stopped or crawling in traffic.
  • Tolls included in your quote — Harbour Bridge and Tunnel, Eastern Distributor, M4, M5, M8, WestConnex and NorthConnex.
  • Vehicle-based rates — Kia Maxi is $12 flag fall plus $4.25/km; the HiAce minibus (up to 10 passengers) is $16 flag fall plus $5.10/km.

Payments

All vehicles carry a card terminal accepting Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Cabcharge, Cabcharge FastCard, EFTPOS, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Corporate clients can run a monthly account with itemised invoicing.

Read the waiting time & cancellation rules
  • • Free waiting at the pickup point: 10 minutes. After that, idle time is $0.80 per minute.
  • • Cancel 60 minutes or more before pickup and there is no charge.
  • • 30 to 59 minutes before pickup: 20% of the quoted fare. 10 to 29 minutes: 40%.
  • • Inside the last 10 minutes, once the driver is on the way: 75% of the quoted fare.
  • • Severe weather or a major accident can add time to the trip — the waiting rate is the only extra, and we tell you before it starts.
